With its school of design and the building school, the GBS operates two successful centres of competence in the areas of higher and advanced vocational training with a renown that extends beyond eastern Switzerland.

The building school is a higher technical college and is oriented towards the market, thereby ensuring that the training on offer is practice-based and up-to-date.
